Nancy Berti
Nancy Berti is a dance professional, choreographer, and teacher, with a career built across competition, stage, and television.
She approached dance as a child and, after classical training, chose to dedicate herself to Latin American dances at the age of 17. Thus began a competitive journey that led her to win national and international titles, eventually representing Italy on the most important dance stages. Over the course of her career, she became a multiple-time Italian champion, European champion, and bronze medalist at the South American Show Dance World Championships, reaching sixth place in the world ranking of professional Latin American dancers in 2013.
Ballerina, insegnante, coreografa e giudice internazionale, Nancy Berti ha dedicato la sua vita alle danze latino-americane, portando la sua esperienza dalla pista alla televisione.
Professionista diplomata ANMB e giudice nazionale e internazionale WDC, nella sua carriera agonistica ha rappresentato l’Italia ai massimi livelli, conquistando numerosi titoli italiani ed europei, la vittoria UK e Blackpool Rising Star, una Top 10 mondiale nella Professional Open Latin e il 6° posto nella Pro Ranking List mondiale WDC. Nel South American Show Dance è stata pluricampionessa italiana ed europea e medaglia di bronzo ai Mondiali.
Nel corso degli anni ha lavorato come coach e insegnante per coppie agoniste italiane e internazionali e come special guest coach in Europa, America e Asia.
Il suo percorso televisivo l’ha vista protagonista di Ballando con le Stelle, come ballerina, insegnante e coreografa di numerosi “Ballerini per una notte”, e di Amici di Maria De Filippi, dove è stata docente e unica coreografa per le danze latino-americane, oltre che assistente alla coreografia e giudice esterno.
Ha inoltre lavorato nel cinema e nella danza contemporanea, tra cui il film Il ritmo della vita e lo spettacolo Salomé a Londra.
In ogni fase della sua carriera, Nancy ha sempre dedicato una particolare attenzione all’immagine e allo stile: dagli outfit scelti per la pista, studiati per esprimere personalità e presenza scenica, fino agli abiti indossati nel ruolo di giudice e alle sue apparizioni televisive.
È anche da questo rapporto con il movimento, il corpo e lo stile che nasce KINÉA: dalla volontà di creare capi capaci di accompagnare le donne dentro ogni momento della sua vita.
She soon combined her competitive career with a television one. She was a key figure in various seasons of Ballando con le stelle (Dancing with the Stars), where she worked as a dancer and instructor for the show’s celebrity guests, and later joined the world of Amici di Maria De Filippi as an instructor, choreographer, and mentor for Latin American dance. Her television career solidified a professional reputation built over the years through technique, discipline, teaching, and performance.
As an ANMB technician and WDC international judge, Nancy continues to work in the training and preparation of dancers, bringing her experience beyond the competitive realm into choreography and show business.
It is precisely from the experience gained in movement and the personal need to find a balance between performance, comfort, and aesthetics that KINĒA, the athleisure brand she founded, was born.
Today, KINĒA represents a new chapter in her journey: a project that brings the same idea of freedom, movement, and self-expression that has defined her entire professional life into the world of apparel.
